Central Pattana unveils grand year-end campaign

Leading mall operator Central Pattana has teamed up with Citibank, CIMB Bank and Charles & Keith to invest more than Bt100 million in its year-end campaign.

“Universe of Happiness”, which began on Friday and concludes on January 12, featuring a 10-metre-high Snoopy balloon in front of CentralWorld on Rama I Road in Bangkok and 2,000 Snoopy dolls at its 25 branches throughout the country.
The campaign also includes a lucky draw prize for shoppers with purchases of up to Bt1,000 that will result in someone winning a trip to Nasa’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
Central will partner BEC-Tero Entertainment and Thaicom to host Nasa – A Human Adventure, the first Nasa space exhibition in Thailand and Southeast Asia, at the Bangkok Convention Centre from December 1 until February 1.
Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Central executive vice president for marketing, said the campaign would help stimulate the purchasing power of consumers, as they had started to spend more following months of political uncertainty.
Nattakit said it would also entice foreigners to visit the country.
Central expects the number of people visiting its shopping complexes this festive season to increase by up to 20 per cent compared to the rest of the year and sales to increase by up to 30 per cent.
