Toyota's chief in Thailand to run Asia-Pacific operations
Toyota Motor (Thailand) President Kyoichi Tanada is officially named the president of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific (TMAP-MS) and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing (TMAP-EM).
He will start his new capacity, which includes oversight on the operations in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East, on April 1, TMT said in a statement.
Joining Toyota Motor Corp in 1979, Tanada has been posted in Thailand since July 1, 2009.
Following this promotion, TMT is also re-assigned as a regional centre of Toyota.
