The International Trade Promotion Department has joined forces with 14 universities to encourage Thai students to participate in a training project in other Asean countries, aiming to prepare more human resources for international business.
Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, director-general of the department, said the project would support students’ job training in Thai Trade Offices in eight of the Kingdom’s fellow Asean countries, Brunei being the only exception.
The department will give 19 students from various universities the chance to join the on-the-job training project with the eight Trade Offices for four months.
NBTC’S COMPLAINT APP
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission yesterday launched a new mobile application, “NBTC Call Centre 1200”, as a new channel for people to complain about telecom and broadcasting services.
The app is compatible with Android-based mobile phones and will soon be compatible with iOS phones.
Users can click on the app to make a complaint or ask for information. They can also send photos or video clips to accompany their complaints.
Thanpant Raicharoen, NBTC deputy secretary-general, said the commission was the first independent organisation in Thailand to launch this kind of service to help people make complaints. The new app should also reduce the number of complaints made to the NBTC’s call centre.
