TrueVisions offers all-purpose hybrid box
TRUEVISIONS Group has launched an all-purpose set-top box called True Digital HD2.
The hybrid box can receive signals from both satellite and the airwaves, offering free access to more than 200 TV channels for Bt1,690.
Customers can use the digital-TV subsidy coupons handed out by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission towards the purchase of a True Digital HD2 box. Since the coupons are worth Bt690, buyers need to ante up another Bt1,000.
True Digital HD2 will be on the market in mid-June.
Birathon Kasemsri na Ayudhaya, TrueVisions Group’s head of commercial and business development, said the box was user-friendly and easy to install.
He said the box offered great value, bunched with quality programmes from TrueVisions, digital TV channels, and various other popular shows, including 15 high-definition channels.
Buyers will also get access to TrueVisions’ “Happy Family HD” package for four mounts free of charge.
True Digital HD2 will be available nationwide at all of the company’s distribution channels including True Shops, True partner shops, and 7-Eleven, for a total of more than 12,000 outlets.
