Shuji Okawa, president and chief executive officer of Chuo Senko (Thailand), said yesterday that this new business alliance aimed to strengthen services and fulfil clients’ demands.
It would also diversify the business into marketing communication services in all of the other segments in the Asian market.
Dai Nippon is expecting its regional network to cover their clients’ needs for investing in Asian countries. Chuo Senko Thailand will develop new and prospective clients by drawing on Dai Nippon’s expertise in not only printing but also sales promotion.
The alliance will offer digital solutions, corporate social responsibility support, showroom design and factory-tour planning to develop businesses in Southeast Asia.
It will develop new services by utilising the knowledge and strengths of both companies.
"Together, we will offer solutions for clients to deepen the relationship between clients and consumers. We also aim to offer more convenience and benefits to our consumers, and boost sales for our clients," Okawa said.
Established in Thailand in 1963, Chuo Senko has more than 50 years of experience as a marketing communications specialist.
It has created many successful advertising campaigns and shop designs for its clients that demonstrate its high professional standard of work.
The company’s network spreads across seven countries – Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, India and the Philippines.
Yoshitoshi Kitajima, president of Dai Nippon Printing, said the company had already started printing and packaging businesses in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam, but this would be the first time for it to start marketing services in Asean countries.
The Thai and other Asean markets have been experiencing remarkable growth for many years, and many Japanese companies have entered the market, which is expected to continue.
