Dow's Habitat home for needy families

Dow Thailand Group’s volunteer team recently painted the 26th house under its Habitat for Humanity project before it hands it over to the underprivileged family of Pornpimon Mahajindamontree next month.

Led by Jittima Deeprasertwong, production leader of synthetic latex emulsion, acrylic emulsion, and poly-acrylic acid plants, the team joined hands in Rayong with Berger Paints (Thailand), providing home painting products to give a colourful atmosphere to the neighbourhood.

It has been 10 years of a long-standing partnership between Dow Thailand Group and Habitat for Humanity Thailand in building safe, affordable and sustainable homes. Dow’s partnership with Habitat aligns with many of Dow’s 2015 sustainability goals, including energy efficiency, community success and local protection of human health and the environment.

EXIM’s laptop gift to stimulate students

Thailand has announced a plan to become a digital economy, but how can this vision be supported when some schools do not have computers?

Seeing the need, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) recently donated laptop computers to Banbungfang School in Uthai Thani.

The donation was part of EXIM Thailand’s corporate social responsibility programme to promote educational and learning opportunities.
