Cheerful farewell party for BOT governor

Prasarn Trairatvorakul, the governor of Bank of Thailand, appeared to be in a cheerful mood today at his own farewell party.
The central bank hosted the party as Prasarn is ending his five-year term at the end of this this month.
Succeeding him is Veerathai Santiprabhob, a former economist at the International Monetary Fund and a former executive at Siam Commercial Bank and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
