More than 400,000 visitors are expected to attend the Architect Expo 2017 from May 2-7. The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA), in cooperation with TTF International, said it would be holding “Architect Expo 2017” this year under the theme “Baan Baan: Reconsidering Dwelling”.

The event will showcase the latest advances in architecture at the country level that are on par with the international level over 75,000sqm at the Challenger Hall 1-3, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
Domestic and international exhibitors have already confirmed their participation.
The organisers believe Architect Expo 2017 will draw more than 400,000 participants to the event, citing the government’s proposed infrastructure development projects which are expected to boost the industry and the Thai economy.
ASA president Ajaphol Dusitnanond said the association has been organising the ‘Architect Expo’ event annually since 1986 to raise awareness and promote architectural works, building technology, architectural innovations, as well as the ASA’s activities.
Nantapon Junngurn, the chairman of the Architect Expo 2017 organising committee, said the event aims to disseminate concepts and innovations in residential architecture and provide a forum for those involved in this field, including architects, engineers, contractors, business people and the general public to exchange knowledge and opinion with each other.
The ASA exhibition will be divided into three zones: dwelling, dwelling elements, and dwelling surroundings. There will also be areas dedicated to recreational activities, which will be another essential element of the exhibition.
