KBank and TCG aim to support SME expansion

Kasikornbank (KBank) has joined with Thailand Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) to provide financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in import-export and tourism yesterday.
KBank executive vice president Surat Leelataviwat and Nitid Manoonporn, president of TCG, announced their cooperation to support SMEs under “Portfolio Guarantee Scheme Phase VI”.
The facility includes loans up to Bt60 million for import-export SMEs for use as working capital and to finance their business expansion and up to 3.33 times collateral value for tourism SMEs. TCG will provide additional loan guarantee up to Bt40 million each. Customers will be granted a 1.75 per cent fee waiver during the first four years.
