F5 Networks kept busy by security need

F5 Networks kept busy by security need

WITH THAILAND’S businesses increasingly going through digital transformation, and as emerging technologies continue to be developed and become more widespread in use, the Thailand representative office of F5 Networks is expecting to see continued demand for its software-based application services in this country.

F5 Networks country manager for Thailand, Watchara Jiracharoensuwan, said the company would continue to work closely with customers and partners to help them best manage the complexity of deploying applications across on-premise and multi-cloud environments.
The US-based F5 Networks specialises in application delivery networking technology, which can ensure the secure and efficient distribution of applications across any networks.
Watchara added the company’s current main customers were private and state telecom operators, banks, and state agencies.
He noted that an increasing number of hospitals were investing in developing applications to serve customers as part of their digital transformation. The company could step in to help them deliver applications to customers in a secured way, he said.
Manufacturing is the other major sector pursuing digital transformation by deploying automation, robotics, and Internet of Things technology to enhance their operations.
He said that F5 was looking for potential strong partners to help it approach those in Thailand’s health and manufacturing sectors.
He added that next year the telecom operators, banks, and state agencies would still be the company’s main revenue contributors to its application delivery service. These businesses, especially banks, have continued to invest more to offer new applications to customers as they seek to expand their customer bases.
