Life insurer reports premiums growth

Muang Thai Life Assurance has reported total premiums of Bt102.68 billion at the end of 2017, or up six per cent from 2016
.
This is the first time of its total premiums have been over Bt100 billion, the company’s president and chief executive officer, Sara Lamsam, said on Wednesday.
Up to Bt31.06 billion of the total were new premiums. Net profit in the year 2017 also showed strong growth over the previous year.
