TRADE PACTS Exports under trade pacts reach $56 bn in 9 months
Thai exports under free trade agreements (FTA) and generalised system of preferences (GSP) amounted to a total of US$55.66 billion in the first nine months , up 17.7 per cent from the same period of last year, said Adual Chotinisakorn, director-general of the Foreign Trade Department yesterday.
Exports under FTAs accounted for $52.09 billion of total, with shipments under GSPs making up the balance of $3.57 billion, he added.
“We expect total exports under FTA s and GSPs to reach more than US$70 billion at the end of this year,” he said.
