Triple i Logistic beefs up cargo sales business
The board of Triple i Logistic has given permission to the company to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Teleport Everywhere Pte Ltd, Thai AirAsia, and Thai AirAsia X to form a joint venture with Teleport Everywhere to operate as general cargo sales agent and provide other logistics solutions and services related to Air Asia group’s flights.
According to its filing with the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Wednesday, the JV is expected to be incorporated by January 1, 2020.
In a separate filing, the Triple i board also approved its acquisition of common shares of Excel Air (Cambodia) with investment of around Bt1 million, representing 32 per cent of total registered capital of the Cambodia firm in order to operate a cargo sales agent business in Cambodia.
