OR takes 'Café Amazon' to Vietnam in JV with Central Restaurants
PTT Oil and Retail Business Plc (OR) and Central Restaurants Group Company Limited (CRG) signed a joint venture agreement on Thursday (December 19) for the establishment and operation of a “Café Amazon” branch in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh city in the second quarter of next year.
OR is a subsidiary of PTT Plc. PTTOR International Holdings (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a company under OR, will take a 60 per-cent stake in the joint venture, with CRG holding the balance of 40 per cent.
OR's total investment in the project will not exceed US$ 2.1 million. It will provide a master franchise right to the JV to expand "Cafe Amazon" in the country.
