Yingluck thanks Indonesian president for peace efforts

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra Monday expressed gratitude to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono over Indonesia's role in facilitating peace efforts between Thailand and Cambodia.



Thailand would fully cooperate with Indonesia, which is now holding the chairman chip of the Asean on the matter, Yingluck said in a meeting with Yudhoyono in Jakarta where she visited Monday for her introductory mission.



Indonesia was the second country Yingluck paid officials visit to mark to introduce her self as the new Prime Minister of Thailand. She made the first visit to Brunei on Saturday and would visit Cambodia on Thursday and to Laos on Friday.
