Wall St's 3-day rally ends

The Nasdaq fell&nbsp;55.25 points, or 2.17 per cent&nbsp;at 2,491.58.&nbsp;<br /> Meanwhile, gold prices plunged to&nbsp;near USD1,620 an ounce on profit-taking by&nbsp;investors&nbsp;gold&nbsp; rebounded&nbsp;in the previous session.
