Thammasat University Rangsit Campus is now at risk of floods, as water comes from all directions, said Rector Somkid Lertpaitoon.
He added that the Gymnasium 1, which is the shelter to about 3,600 flood victims, remains safe. The building is 1.20 metre above ground.
"If the government has any spare manpower, they should be dispatched to check the embankment around the campus. We also need to heighten the sandbags around the Gymnasium by another 1 metre," he said.
