276 fuel stations closed

A number of 276 fuel stations nationwide close their doors as of today, according to the Energy Ministry.

Energy Minister Pichai Naripthaphan said in a statement that a number of 128 NGV and LPG stations in flood-hit areas also suspend services. However, the North Bangkok Power Plant still operates as usual.

He assured that there would be no shortage of oil and gas supply, despite some delays in transportation to the flood-hit areas. "Oil retailers have already built their inventory," he said.
