Less rainfall in Bangkok, more in South

Rainfall at Bangkok was down to 10 per cent, the Southern region's rainfall was 70-80 per cent while the Northern and Northeastern regions' weather became cooler in the morning, the Meteorological Department said Monday.

As the ridge of moderate high pressure from China was covering the upper of Thailand and the South China Sea, the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East now had cool weather with mist in the morning along with isolated thundershower. The moderate northeast monsoon prevailed over the Gulf of Thailand and southern Thailand, hence fairly widespread thundershower and isolated heavy fall were expected over the South east-coast. The wind-wave in the Gulf of Thailand from Chumphon downwards was about two meters high; all ships should sail with caution.
