GAT, PAT postponed to late next month

General Aptitude Test and Professional Aptitude Test (GAT and PAT) are delayed to late next month due to floods.
Education Minister Woravat Auapinyakul said the first round of GAT and PAT was postponed to December 24-27.
National Institute of Educational Testing Service will announce the tests’ results on January 31 next year.
At first, the tests were scheduled to be organised from November 19-20 and November 26-27.
Woravat said the deluge had affected 2,356 schools in 13 provinces, worth Bt1.4 billion in loss. They postpone the school reopening day for the second semester to November 15.
Hence, the ministry would initially allocate Bt700 million to assist flood-affected teachers and students, he added.
