72 highway spots impassable

Seventy two spots on 88 flood-hit highways are impassable following floods that severely hit 17 provinces, according to the Highways Department.
Water level on the Wang Noi-Ayutthaya route is 20-70cm as of 7.30am. The road linking Bang Pa-In and Taling Chan still suffers from 30-50cm floods. The water level of a section in Ladlumkaew, Pathum Thani, is 80-100cm deep.
Of total 100 spots affected, 28 remain passable, the department said.
