Ministry provides cheap consumer goods

The Commerce Ministry's Department of Internal Trade has arranged for Blue Flag mobile units to sell consumer goods at low prices to flood victims at 12 locations.
These include: in front of Major Hollywood Pakkred; under the Rama IV Bridge; Khlong Kum Niwet Housing Estate; Huai Kwang’s Thepthawee community; Nonthaburi’s Wat Sai Yai; Wat Ladpladuk in Nonthaburi’s Bang Bua Thong district; Soi Ram Inthra 14; Bangkok Yai district office; and Bangkok Noi’s Bang Khun Non Intersection.
Commerce permanent secretary Yanyong Phuangrach also urged consumers to call the 1569 hotline if they encountered incidents of overcharging.
