Thai composite stocks index (SET) at midday Friday stood at 984.76, down 8.62 points, or 0.87 per cent amid light trade of Bt10.27 billion turnover in line with global shares. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 689.53, down 7.50 points, or 1.08 per cent.
