Stop Global Warming to represent flood victims to file suit

The Stop Global Warming Association (SGWA) has offered to represent flood victims who wish to file compensation lawsuit against the government at no charge.

SGWA has described the Bt5,000 compensation to be given by the government to each floodhit family as just initial remedial measure.
“It’s not the compensation for damages caused by grave mistake, failure, and complacency on the part of the government and relevant authorities,” SGWA president Srisuwan Janya said in a statement.
The statement also pointed out that the damages done to flood victims were greater than the Bt5,000.
