Chevening Scholarships, funded by the UK's Foreign Commonwealth Office, offer current and future Thai leaders, decisionmakers and opinion formers the opportunity to undertake postgraduate study in the UK and make a valuable contribution to the country upo

 

The 201213 scholarship programme is now open for applications from deserving Thai students and professionals who wish to further their studies for a diploma or master’s degree in the UK.
Applications can be submitted to www.chevening.fco.gov.uk/CheveningApplications/CA_Start.aspx until January 30. 
The objective of the programme in Thailand is to encourage new generation highachievers and dynamic students and professionals to study in the UK, and then return to Thailand to contribute to ongoing and future work in the their disciplines.
Scholarships are available for a wide range of subjects ranging from environment/climate change, water management, finance and commerce to political science and social science.
The scholarships cover living costs, tuition and roundtrip airfare. 
To be eligible, an applicant must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, at least two years of work experience and a GPA of 3.0 or above.
The programme is represented by the British Embassy and administered worldwide by the British Council. It supports over 2,000 international students annually to study in the UK.
