"I am ready to fight every charge and will post Bt1.2 million for bail," he said.
Arisman said he was confident he would be granted a temporary release pending trial.
"I see the country as returning to normalcy and I want reconciliation to happen as per the wish of His Majesty," he said in reference to the King's birthday speech.
After completing the booking process at DSI, he will report to the Office of the Attorney General for acknowledging his charges related in five violent incidents.
The public prosecutors are in charge of bail review pending the completion of the prosecution review on cases involving Arisman.
Dozens of red shirt supporters gathered at the DSI showing their support for Arisman, who prepared Bt1.2 million as collateral for seeking bail.
The singer-turned-activist turned himself in at Pattaya court in the coastal resort province of Chonburi on Tuesday before surrendering to the DSI today.
An arrest warrant was issued for him for the 2009 case when he led protesters to raid the Royal Cliff Beach Resort Hotel in Pattaya, venue of Asean summit. The incident forced an abrupt end to the key regional meeting and tarnished the country's image.
Other charges included his role in leading the red shirt protesters to storm parliament last year, a raid at the Thaicom satellite station in Pathum Thani province and terrorism charges involving clashes between security forces and red shirt protesters in the April-May protest last year.
Arisman is believed to have fled to Cambodia after disappearing from the red shirt rally at Ratchaprasong in 2010 when security forces were retaking the protest site at the city’s business and shopping centre.
