PR students test their skills

Public relations students at Assumption University (ABAC) are joining forces to help six non-profit organisations as part of their "Where Wealth Can Help" project.

The project has been underway for several months and students are now ready for their final showcase, a jointly organised special exhibition fair called “A Journey of Fulfilment” from March 16 to March 18 at the Crystal Design Centre (CDC).
The event will display public relations campaigns for six non-profit organisations – the Ban Bangkae, Fatima Centre, the Foundation for Rehabilitation and Development of Children and Family (FORDEC), Paper Ranger, Rabbit in the Moon, and Yaowawit school.
Asst Prof Bu-nga Chaisuwan, said her students worked hard to apply theories they have studied for four years to conduct a complete PR campaign.
“And we thought, why not do it for non-profit organisations to give something back to the world community at the same time?” she said.
The second day of the event, on March 17, will be a fair, where booths will showcase a variety of activities matching the campaigns.
Visitors will see celebrity appearances of Singto Numchock, Alex Randell, Chef Mee, and others, live on stage for fun activities such as interviews, mini-concerts and a cooking show.
