One injured in LPG tanker explosion on Pattanakarn Road
A man was severely burned when an LPG tanker of Picnic Gas Co Ltd exploded on the Pattanakarn Road early Friday, police said.
The tanker crashed into a bridge railing in front of Soi Pattanakarn 20 at 5:30 pm, causing it to overturn and causing gas leakage.
The leaked gas later exploded into flames, prompting nearby residents to flee from their houses.
The sounds of explosions were heard for a while and the blast shattered glass windows of seven houses nearby.
Police said the injured man was rushed to the Phetcharavej Hospital.
