“Palang Chon has not demanded the ministerial portfolio for tourism and sports by trading its quota for culture,” he said.

He said the ruling Pheu Thai Party had not signalled that the Cabinet reshuffle was on the cards.
He said he had no plans to fly to Beijing to discuss his political future with former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Along with the 111 Thai Rak Thai executives, he would see the expiry of the political ban by the end of this month.
Thaksin is scheduled today to begin his visit to the Chinese capital. His visit is expected to last three weeks. Many of the 111 plan to meet him.
Thaksin’s trip out of Dubai coincides with the planned visit to nearby Bahrain by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, scheduled to start on Sunday.
