Chou Hong Hun, 28, was arrested at a hotel in Bangkok's Chinatown district after police raided his room and found six foetuses aged between two and eight months stored in a suitcase, Thai PBS television reported.
Police Colonel Vivat Khamchamnaan, of the Crimes Against Women and Children Division, said his team had been alerted to Chou's activities by internet users who had seen his advertisements.
Chou advertised that the foetuses would bring the buyer good luck in business. He owns a shop in Taipai specializing in magical charms.
The six specimens found in his suitcase had been dried and covered with tattoos and gold leaf.
Chou confessed to having bought the foetuses from another Taiwanese man in Bangkok for Bt200,000 (6,558 dollars). He was selling them for 180,000 to 200,000 baht each.//DPA
