Wall St ends lower on EU fears

US stocks closed sharply lower on growing concerns over rising bond yields in Spain,Italy and fears over Greece's possible euro zone exit. 

Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 160.83 points,or 1.28 per cent,to end at 12,419.86.

S&P 500 fell 19.10 points, or 1.43 per cent at 1,313.32.

All 10 S&P sectors closed lower, led by energy and financials

Nasdaq composite slipped 33.63 points, or 1.17 per cent at 2,837.36.
