Korkaew calls on Parliament president to go ahead with 3rd reading

Red-shirt leader and Pheu Thai MP Korkaew Pikulthong Monday called on Parliament President Somsak Kiartsuranon to go ahead with the third reading of the charter amendment bill despite a court injunction against it.

Korkaew said Somsak should ignore threats that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and the Cabinet would be taken legal action against if bill is deliberated in the third reading on Tuesday.
He said the amendment bill does not have any wording that would cause the amendment to be regarded as an effort to topple the Monarchy Constitution as alleged by the opponents.
Korkaew said if Somsak dared not go ahead with the third reading, the red-shirt people would no longer defend a “coward Parliament president”.
