Four wounded in Narathiwat blast

Two paramilitary rangers and two village defence volunteers were wounded yesterday in a bomb attack in Narathiwat's Chanae district.
Initial investigation revealed that while six rangers and a group of village volunteers were on patrol, they were directed to inspect a suspicious object at the home of the Dusong-yo village head. On the way, a bomb was set off remotely, wounding the four men.
Police believe the insurgents intended to ambush the security team.
