Driver confirms court president received threats

The driver of Wasan Soypisut, the Constitution Court's president, confirmed Friday that his boss had indeed received threatening calls.

Buncha, 47, who chose not to reveal his last name, has been with Wasan for four years now and said he had answered the first call at his boss’s home on June 1.
He added that the caller, who sounded like an elderly person, said that Wasan should push the charter amendment bill through and not postpone the third reading, otherwise about 20 million red-shirt supporters would be brought over to harass him.
The driver said he had answered two calls like this, and had already told his boss about them but Wasan had not reacted.
