Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will visit England later this week before proceeding to the United States, his legal advisor, Noppadol Pattama, said Monday.
Noppadol said Thaksin has returned to Dubai after celebrating his birthday anniversary in Hong Kong on July 26.
He would visit England and the United States to meet Thais and invite foreign investors to invest in Thai and other Asean countries, Noppadol said.
He said Thaksin would travel across America from the eastern coast to the western coat before ending his US trip in Hawaii and returning to Asia.
