Thailand's Pen-ek to contest in repechage for bronze

Thailand's medal hopeful Pen-Ek Karaket has fulfilled his dream of competing in the repechage following the Lee Daehoon's unbeaten run.
The South Korean superstar rookie edged Russian Alexey Denisenko 7-6 in the semi-finals to now advance to the men's 58kg showdown against top-seeded Joel Gonzalez Bonilla from Spain, current two-time world champion and European winner.
Pen-Ek will take on Egyptian Tamer Bayoumi in the first repechage at around 2.30am (Thursday morning).
