Luxembourg establishes diplomatic ties with Myanmar

Yangon - The former international pariah Myanmar and Luxembourg have established diplomatic relations, state media reports said Thursday.
A joint communique establishing the diplomatic ties was signed July 31 in Brussels, the Myanmar News Agency reported.
"Myanmar has been making efforts to expand diplomatic relations with countries all over the world, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourghas become the 107th country with which Myanmar has established diplomatic relations," the state news agency said.//DPA
