Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung has a hidden agenda to force the Democrats to quit opposing the reconciliation bill, Democrat MP Suthep Thaugsuban said on Friday.
Suthep alleged that Chalerm had recently targetted him and Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva for the special investigation in connection with the 2010 political strife.
The recent publicity about the Department of Special Investigation to uncover the political overseers who gave the order to kill the red shirts was a ploy to push for reconciliation, seen as a whitewash of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, he said.
