The complaint was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court by Cindy Lee Garcia, alleging fraud, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Her lawyer is also expected to ask the judge to order YouTube to remove the video immediately. "This is not a First Amendment issue," lawyer M. Cris Armenta said. "This is an invasion of privacy issue." Garcia claims that she has been subject to credible death threats and has lost her job because of concern about her being a target.
The filing claimed that the filmmaker, who has since been revealed as a radical Coptic Christian named Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, told Garcia that he was making a movie called "Desert Warrior," an adventure film about ancient Egyptians.
Garcia appears in numerous scenes in the film. All the offensive dialogue in the film appears to have been dubbed in post-production.//DPA
