Solider abducted in Narathiwat is found shot to death

The body of a soldier who was abducted from his house in Narathiwat's Rusoh district on Monday, was found in Bacho district Wednesday morning.
The corpse’s hands were tied and there were multiple gunshot wounds.
Police linked the abduction and the killing of Private Maela Tohlu to an ambush on February 13 in the province in which 16 suspected insurgents were ambushed and killed. Maela was part of the team.
His body was found at the roadside of a village in Tambon Palukasamor, police said, adding that a white cable line that was used to tie Maela’s wrists was also found in the February 13 raid.
