Beauty contestant faces arrest over alleged drug video

Police are taking action against a Miss Maxim contestant who posted a video clip in which a young boy is taught how to smoke what looks like an illicit drug.
Kwanjai Khempradub, who has made it into the final round of this year’s Miss Maxim contest, insisted that the white powder visible in the clip is just a harmless powder.
“Posting such a clip on YouTube is a violation of the Computer Crime Act because it shows others how to abuse an illicit substance,” Technology Crime Suppression Division chief MajGeneral Pisit Paoin said Friday.
He said Kwanjai should come forward and contact his office.
