S&P, Dow at new highs

U.S. stocks closed at new all-time highs overnight on big gains in financial shares.
Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.8 per cent to close at 15,215.25.
Standard & Poor's 500 added 1 per cent to reach new record high of 1650.34, while Nasdaq climbed 0.7 per cent to end at 3,462.61.
All 10 S&P sectors rose, with biggest gains from financial and energy shares.
