Wall St ends lower

U.S. stocks closed down nearly 1 per cent in volatile trade on fears Federal Reserve may pull back on monetary stimulus in a few months.
Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 80.41 points, or 0.52 per cent, to close at 15307.17.
S&P 500 lost 13.81 points, or 0.8 per cent, to end at 1655.35; all 10 S&P sectors fell.
Nasdaq composite fell 38.82 points, or 1.11 per cent to 3463.30.
Both the Dow and S&P rose as much as 1 percent earlier in the session.
