Chaiwat Sinsuwong, the protest leader, said on Tuesday his group had gathered four out of five million signatures needed to file a petition with the world court in the move to oust a corrupt government.
He said once he has gathered five million signatures from supporters, he would call a meeting at Sanam Luang to seek a resolution from members about what day they would pressure the government to step down.
He said his group is talking with the white mask anti-government group about an appropriate date to stage a rally together.
"Politicians who respect democracy must respect the people’s desires,’’ he said.
