Nation University's Bang Na Campus yesterday hosted a freshman orientation and registration for the 2013 academic year.
Many parents brought their children to tour the facility and they received a warm reception from senior students and staff.
Nat Suthisoonthornwong, an incoming communication arts student, said he had studied biology but found he did not like it. He also thought science was quite fixed theoretically while communication arts is about unlimited creativity.
He also likes being behind the scenes for media work. He intends to become an apprentice starting in his first year so that he can find and develop his potential more quickly.
Jackkrish Permpool, dean of communication arts, addressed the new students and welcomed them into the family. He urged them to study seriously with the professionals and graduate as professionals. He hopes that the determination of university staff to develop smart, practical and ethical graduates will be appreciated by the students.
