“We have found a photo of three monks on a private jet and these monks normally stay at a temple in Si Sa Ket,” the office’s director Nopparat Benjawatananun said yesterday.
He said officials were now monitoring the monks to determine whether they had engaged in any other unlawful activities.
“If the answer is yes, we will ask the local monastic chief to punish those involved,” he said.
Nopparat said it was also inappropriate for monks to keep a number of sports cars nearby their temple quarters.
