Thai composite stocks index (SET) closed on Thursday at 1,456.68, down 44.68 points, or 2.98 per cent amid Bt56.29 billion turnover in line with most regional shares. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 987.42, down 30.48 points, or 2.99 per cent.
