Ex-PM Anand denied news report on proposed council

Former Prime Minister Anand Panyarachun on Tuesday dismissed as groundless a report in an English language newspaper that he was approached or asked to join the so called a political reform council.
His spokesman said Anand had neither been contacted or made any statement on the council proposed by the government.
