The Cabinet on Tuesday approved in principle MCOT Plc's plan to join the digital TV bidding, preparing to spend Bt5 billion in the auction.
MCOT President Anek Permwongseni said that the company can seek additional Bt11 billion in bank loans for the auction. MCOT will need to prepare human resources and organisation restructuring, for the production of new programmes.
