“We are impressed with the Nation Group media for bringing life to newspapers with the application iSnap. We are pleased to present this award to the group as a leader of technology in the new media,” Ninlawan Petcharaburanin, chairperson of the Senate committee on
Science, Technology, Communication and Telecommunications, said yesterday.
It is the first year that the committee has included the media in the award for its role in presenting research under the “Science leads to Mastery” project. Senate Speaker Nikom Wairatpanij will present the award on September 2, she said.
Starting in February, the iSnap logo on the group’s newspapers has allowed readers to consume news, video clips, picture galleries and product catalogues in three dimensions.
